Hi everyone,
I am trying to create a job that will deploy multiple software products in succession. What I would really like is to have a job that deploys a base image and then performs the software installations one by one until finished.
What I have working:
1) boot to automation
2) deploy image
3) join domain
Not working
4) install Catalyst control center
5) install microsoft office
6) install AutoCad
After step 3 the job fails immediately and i suspect it is because the agent reports back that the task is finished before the software is installed which causes the ITMS to push task 5. Since the windows installer is busy this task fails causing the job to fail..... How can I force Altiris to wait for each install task to really finish before starting the next?
